Welcome to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Pakistan The Hague.

- The Consular Section works five days a week from Monday to Friday;
- Applications are received from 0930 hrs to 1200 hrs;
- Documents return timings are from 1200 hrs to 1300 hrs [except Fridays (till 12:30)];
- Documents are not accepted or delivered after the prescribed timings;
- Applications for renewal of Passport, Power of Attorneys, Authority Letters, Birth Registrations and Renunciation of Pakistani Citizenship must be made in person, 
- Consular Fee is accepted only by PIN card or through bank transfer. No cash is accepted.

Visa Enquiries

Visas are issued on the fourth day of submission of application from 1200 hrs to 1300 hrs.

* Requirements for visa applications are: - 

- Original passport, which must be valid for at least 6 months;
- Completed visa application form;
- Two recent coloured passport size photographs

Normal visa fee for a single entry one month visa is € 31. For double or multiple entry visa for up to one year, the fee is €56.

* Requirements for Business Visa

- Original passport, which must be valid for at least 6 months
- Completed visa application form in duplicate
- Two recent coloured passport size photographs
- Invitation letter from Pakistan and introductory letter from the parent company;
- Flight booking details.

Visa fee for a single entry one month visa is € 47 while for double or multiple entry visa for over one month and up to one year is € 84.

Passport Enquiries

The Embassy issues fresh passports to Pakistani applicants born in the Netherlands. Otherwise it renews the previous expired passports either issued from Pakistan or abroad. An old passport is only renewed if its validity is less than 04 months. New/renewed passports are normally issued after 10 working days. Fee for normal passport is € 36. Urgent passport is issued on the second day of submission of application and its fee is € 96. For detailed fee schedule please visit our website www.embassyofpakistan.com 

* Requirements for Passport applications are: - 

- Old/Expired passport; in case of its loss, police report
- Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) in original;
- Completed passport application form;
- Four recent coloured passport size photographs;
- Dutch residence permit;

In case of fresh passport to a Pakistani born in the Netherlands, his/her Double Nationality certificate issued by the concerned Gemeente along with birth registration certificate (Form-S) needs to be attached in original.

Birth Registration:

In accordance with the Pakistan Citizenship Act, the birth of every minor child born to a Pakistani father or a Pakistani mother must be registered with the nearest Pakistani Embassy within six months of the birth. Following documents are required for birth registration: -

Birth Certificate;

- Double Nationality Certificate issued by the concerned gemente;
- 4 passport size coloured photographs;
- Photocopies of Pakistani Passports of parent(s). Original passports needs to be presented at the Consular window.
- Birth Registration fee amounting to € 5/-.

Renunciation of Pakistani Citizenship:

For Renunciation of Pakistani Citizenship, the following documents are required: -

- 1 completed Computerized Performa and a photocopy;
- 1 completed Form “X” and 4 photocopies - 2 copies of the Dutch passport;
- Original National ID card (Old or new one issued from NADRA) along with its five photocopies;
- Pakistani passport along with 5 photocopies of its first 5 pages
- 6 passport size coloured photographs (in light blue background);
- Letter issued by the Dutch Ministry of Justice along with its English Translation and photocopies;
- Fee amounting to € 16/-. The fee is only accepted through PIN card or Bank transfer. No cash is accepted.

Attestation of documents and Power of Attorneys:

a) For attesting documents issued by various Dutch authorities, these documents must be first attested by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs before their attestation by the Embassy. The Legalization fee per document is € 80/-. 
b) For documents issued from Pakistan, the Embassy will attest only those documents, which have been attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or one of its Camp Offices. The attestation fee is € 5/- per document.
c) For documents of Power of Attorneys and Authority Letters etc, the Executant is required to sign the Power of Attorney or Authority Letter in front of the Attesting Officer at the Embassy. Two Pakistani witnesses must be presented by the Executant before the Attesting Officer. The fee for Authority Letter is € 5/- per document while for Power of Attorney is €5/- per Executant. 

NADRA cards

Applications are processed for NADRA cards, namely National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis also known as NICOP card and Pakistan Origin Card also known as POC.

NATIONAL IDENTITY CARD FOR OVERSEAS PAKISTANIS (NICOP)

Pakistani nationals residing abroad or having dual nationality are eligible for this card. To apply for a NICOP card, following documents are required: 
- Completed NICOP application Form
- 4 recent passport size coloured photographs (light blue background) 
- Habib Bank Rotterdam’s fee deposit receipt. 
- Copy of Pakistani passport (front 4 pages)
- Copy of National ID Card (NIC) or the RG-2 (Form-B) or the Birth registration form of Pakistani children born abroad (Form S-1).
- Copies of ID cards of parents (if alive) and wife/husband, if applicable

Please note that:
- The form must be filled in with black ink including thumb impressions and signatures;
- The form must be filled with capital letters only
- The fee for this card is US$ 15/- to be deposited only in Habib Bank, Rotterdam.

Pakistan Origin Card (POC)

Following persons can apply for POC, namely:

- Any person who is currently not Pakistani citizen but has remained a Pakistani citizen in his/her lifetime. 
- A person who has never been a Pakistani citizen but any of whose parents or grandparents is/was a citizen of Pakistan;

Documents required for POC are:
- Completed POC Application Form.
- 4 recent passport size coloured photographs (light blue background) 
- Habib Bank Rotterdam’s fee deposit receipt. 
- Copy of Foreign Passport 
- At least 1 proof of Pakistani origin that may include:
- Copy of Pakistani passport, OR
- Copy of National ID Card (NIC), OR
- Proof of property owned in Pakistan, OR
- Proof of relationship with a Pakistani; e.g. Birth Certificate, along with the relative's Pakistani passport or NIC.

Please note that:

- The form must be filled in with black ink including thumb impressions and signatures;
- The form must be filled with block capital letters only
- The fee for this card is US$ 100/- for adults and US$ 50/- for children below 18 years. The fee must be deposited only in the Habib Bank, Rotterdam.
