The government has issued the list of products, which qualify for duty suspension under the new General Scheme of Preferences (GSP) announced by European Union. The products that would be allowed duty free entry fall under Harmonized Code chapters 1 to 9, 11 to 13, 15 to 25, 27 to 29, 31 to 40, 44 to 49, 61 to 69, 76, 78 to 79 and 81 to 96. The rest of harmonized code chapters are not covered by duty suspension and will be subject to normal EU import tariff. Details of products can be seen in any office of the EPB and can also be accessed from EPB Web site.
