The above-mentioned programme of training activities in Pakistan represents a manifold increase in CBI’s activities in Pakistan. Indeed, it is CBI’s largest ever engagement in one year in Pakistan.
Besides these training activities in Pakistan, Pakistani exporting concerns are also participating in the CBI’s Export Coaching Programmes (ECP) on fresh fruits & vegetables and fashion sportswear. An ECP of CBI is a 3-5 years’ capacity building programme for the exporters from developing countries. It is one of the best export-oriented entrepreneurship development programmes organised by any organisation in the world.
The Commercial Wing of the Embassy of Pakistan has been closely coordinating with CBI for these development cooperation activities in Pakistan.
